Cozy Apple Cinnamon Roll Baked Bliss

Cinnamon Rolls have always been a fan favorite in my house. Even as a snack, there is something so calming about biting into a warm, cinnamon filled flaky bun topped with a delicious glaze. I have always loved eating cinnamon rolls on a Sunday morning before church, or on Christmas morning when we get together as a family. I decided to experiment around in the kitchen using some cinnamon rolls I already had, and some pie filling. Boy, let me tell you. It was absolutely delightful. One of the best recipes I have ever tried!

I’m super excited to share a new recipe that combines two of my all-time faves: cinnamon rolls and apple pie. This Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake is perfect for any occasion, whether you’re hosting brunch, celebrating a holiday, or just craving something sweet and cozy.

This recipe is super easy and quick to whip up, making it perfect for those busy mornings or last-minute get-togethers. The combo of gooey cinnamon rolls and sweet, spiced apple pie filling is just irresistible.

Feel free to get creative with this recipe. You can add a sprinkle of nutmeg or cloves for extra warmth, or even toss in some raisins or dried cranberries for a bit of tartness. The possibilities are endless!

  • 2 cans cinnamon rolls of choice
  • 1 can apple pie filling

Optional Extras

  • 1/2 can cream cheese icing
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans


Make Casserole

  • Begin by preheating your oven to 350°.
  • Grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters.
  • Spread half of the apple pie filling along the bottom of the pan.
  • Place the cinnamon roll pieces on top of the apple filling.
  • Spread the rest of the apple pie filling along the top of the cinnamon roll pieces.

Bake, and Enjoy!

  • Bake the apple cinnamon roll pieces for 25-30 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Drizzle icing from the cinnamon rolls cans over the top while they are still warm.
  • If using, drizzle the cream cheese icing and chopped pecans over the top right now while still warm.
  • Enjoy the cinnamon rolls!


This is such a simple and straight-forward recipe, there aren't a ton of notes. Make this recipe your own though, by using the cream cheese drizzle, different nuts, or even a different pie filling.
